Overview
A three-hour afternoon buggy safari in the desert near Hurghada, timed so that you finish in the golden hour as the sun sets behind the mountains.
A buggy sits low to the ground, handles like a go-kart and throws up an impressive amount of sand. We collect you from your hotel in Hurghada in the afternoon and drive to the safari camp, where you get a safety briefing before heading out.
Your guide leads the convoy along desert tracks with the Red Sea Mountains ahead. As the afternoon wears on the light softens, the shadows lengthen and the sand changes colour, and the group stops to watch the sun go down behind the peaks.
It's a good mix of driving fun and quiet scenery. The trip takes about three hours including transfers, and you're back at your hotel in time for dinner.
