Overview
A trip from Cairo to Ain Sokhna on the Red Sea for a submarine ride among the marine life, with lunch, hotel day use and entry fees included. Shared small-group tour.
Ain Sokhna is Cairo's nearest stretch of Red Sea coast, a line of beach hotels on the Gulf of Suez where bare mountains run down to the water. We pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and head east across the desert to the sea.
The highlight is the submarine trip: you settle in by the windows and watch the underwater world slide past, from the seabed to whatever fish and marine life are out that day. It's a good choice for non-swimmers, children and anyone who would rather stay dry.
Afterwards you have day use of a beach hotel, with lunch included and time to relax by the sea. The tour runs to around five hours, though Cairo traffic can stretch it, before you are driven back to your hotel.
