Overview
A private evening in Giza: dinner at a rooftop restaurant facing the pyramids while the Sound and Light Show plays out across the plateau, with car, driver and representative.
After dark the Giza plateau changes character. We collect you from your hotel in Cairo or Giza in a private car, and your tour representative takes you to a rooftop restaurant looking straight out at the pyramids and the Sphinx.
Dinner is included, served as the evening's Sound and Light Show begins. Coloured beams sweep across the pyramids and the Sphinx while a narrated soundtrack tells the story of the pharaohs who built them — something you take in from your table rather than from a crowded stand.
It is a relaxed way to see the pyramids a second time, cooler and quieter than by day. Once dinner is over, your driver takes you back to your hotel, about four hours after pickup.
