Overview
Two days of guided sightseeing in Luxor from Marsa Alam, covering the great temples of both banks, with a night in a five-star hotel in between.
A day trip from Marsa Alam to Luxor means a lot of driving in one go; staying overnight lets you slow down. We collect you from your hotel and drive across the Eastern Desert to the Nile, about four hours away.
Your guide takes you through Luxor's great temples: Karnak and Luxor Temple on the East Bank, and on the West Bank the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. In between you spend the night in a five-star hotel, with time for an evening walk along the Nile.
With two days the pace is easier and you have longer at each site. Altogether the trip adds up to around 20 hours of travelling and guided sightseeing before the drive back to Marsa Alam.

Day 1
Marsa Alam → Luxor East Bank → overnight → West Bank → Marsa Alam
Pickup from your hotel and the drive of about four hours to Luxor. Your guide shows you Karnak and Luxor Temple on the East Bank before you check in to your five-star hotel for the night. The next day you cross to the West Bank for the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, then drive back to Marsa Alam. The trip adds up to around 20 hours of travelling and sightseeing.
