Overview
Four hours at Giza with a licensed guide: the Great Pyramid of Khufu, a camel ride across the desert with the pyramids behind you, and the Great Sphinx.
We collect you from your hotel in Cairo or Giza and drive to the plateau, where your licensed guide begins at the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest of the three and the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still standing.
Then it is time to mount up. Your camel kneels, you climb on, and it rises in two lurching steps that make everyone laugh. Led by a local handler, you ride out over the sand, where the views open up across the desert and the pyramids stand in a line on the horizon.
Back on foot, you finish at the Great Sphinx, carved from the bedrock of the plateau, before the drive back to your hotel about four hours after pickup.
