Overview
A four-hour boat trip from Marsa Alam to snorkel on a reef where dolphins are often seen, with a chance to swim near them in the wild.
The reefs around Marsa Alam are known for their pods of spinner dolphins, which rest in sheltered water during the day. We collect you from your hotel and take you to the harbour, where your boat sails for the reef.
Your guide explains how to behave around the dolphins, quietly, at a distance and without touching, and then you slip into the water. If the pod is there you may see them gliding beneath you; either way, the coral and reef fish make for good snorkelling.
These are wild animals and sightings are never guaranteed, but the chances here are good. The trip takes about four hours including transfers.
