Overview
A three-hour trip timed for sunrise or sunset: a camel ride through the desert beside the Giza Pyramids with a licensed guide, plus a visit to the Great Sphinx.
The pyramids look their best at the edges of the day, when the stone glows and the shadows grow long. We collect you from your hotel in Cairo or Giza, timed for either sunrise or sunset, and drive to the desert at Giza.
Your camel kneels, you climb aboard, and you ride out across the sand with a local handler and your licensed guide. As the sky turns orange and pink, the pyramids stand dark against it — the golden hour every photographer hopes for.
The visit also takes in the Great Sphinx, and your guide shares the history of the plateau along the way; the exact route depends on the site's opening hours. You are back at your hotel about three hours after pickup.
