Fly from Hurghada to Cairo for a guided day among the capital's landmarks, centred on the Giza pyramids and the Sphinx, with lunch included.
Driving from Hurghada to Cairo takes most of a day; flying takes about an hour. We collect you from your hotel early and take you to Hurghada airport, and your guide meets you on arrival in Cairo with a car and driver.
The day centres on the Giza plateau: the Great Pyramid, the panoramic viewpoint where all three pyramids line up against the desert, and the Sphinx. Your guide fills in the history as you go, and as time allows you see more of Cairo's landmarks, with lunch in a local restaurant.
In the evening you fly back to Hurghada and are driven to your hotel. It's a full day of around eight hours, but the easiest way to see the pyramids from the Red Sea.

Day 1

Early pickup from your hotel and transfer to Hurghada airport for the flight to Cairo. Your guide meets you on arrival and takes you to the Giza plateau, the panoramic viewpoint and the Sphinx, with more of Cairo as time allows. After lunch in a local restaurant, you return to the airport for the evening flight to Hurghada and the transfer to your hotel. Expect a full day of around eight hours.
