Cairo is a long way from Sharm El Sheikh by road, but only about an hour by air. We collect you from your hotel early in the morning for the transfer to Sharm El Sheikh airport, and your guide and air-conditioned vehicle are waiting when you land in Cairo.
The day focuses on the city's great landmarks, starting with the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, where your guide explains how and why the pyramids were built and who the workers were who built them. Further stops depend on flight times and traffic, which in Cairo is always part of the story, and lunch breaks up the day.
In the evening you fly back to Sharm El Sheikh and are taken to your hotel. Allow around eight hours for the touring and flights; the exact schedule follows the day's flight times. It's a shared small-group tour, and you'll need your passport to fly.

Early pickup and the transfer to Sharm El Sheikh airport for the flight to Cairo.
