Overview
A private evening in Cairo: a horse-drawn carriage ride, then a walk with your representative through historic streets and busy night markets.
Cairo is a night city: shops stay open late, families stroll until midnight and the heat of the day finally lets go. We collect you from your hotel in the evening and start the night the old-fashioned way, in a horse-drawn carriage clip-clopping through the city streets.
Then it's time to walk. Your representative leads you through historic streets where centuries-old buildings stand beside bright shop fronts, and into night markets busy with spice sellers, lamp makers and food carts. It's a good way to get your bearings and see how Cairenes spend their evenings.
Stop for a snack or a tea wherever you like, ask all the questions you want and take your time over the photographs. You are driven back to your hotel about three hours after pickup.
